In Memoriam

For more than six years, Charles W. Douglas (“Chuck”) served as the Chairman and President of The Dr. M. Lee Pearce Foundation, Inc. after being personally selected by founder, Dr. Pearce. Under Chuck’s leadership the Foundation supported medical research on improved patient care, quality of life, and healthy aging, and supported the performance and understanding of classical music and opera.

In addition to chairing the Foundation, Chuck also served on the Executive, Grants and Investment Committees. His vast knowledge and business acumen guided the Foundation through its reorganization and many challenges while simultaneously giving the Foundation a solid footing on which to build in the years ahead.

If Chuck were here today, we would say: Thank you for your devotion to the Foundation and for the good work we will accomplish in the future because of your tenure.
